During the school year we celebrate all the traditional festivities: La Mercè (the “festa major”, annual festival of the city) and Santa Cecilia, La Castanyada (hot chestnuts in the autumn), Christmas, Carnival, and Sant Jordi (Saint George, Patron of Catalonia).  We invite the children, their parents and grandparents and other people who are habitually involved with the school.

On these occasions we all work together to decorate the school and the classrooms.  Our traditions are our signs of identity and they are important to us.

Other activities which include the children’s families are the Open Day (“Portes Obertes”), grandparents’ day, parents’ day, suppers for parents and, most important of all, the end of year festival.
